New Laminate Floor in Basement
The floor was an old orange carpet. The carpet was torn out and the new
laminate floor installed.
Projects from the Shop
These are some woodworking projects I completed during my time at Algonquin
College Heritage Institute.
New Life for an Old Deck
The old deck had been put down a few years ago to hold a fabric screen room.
Over the years the fabric had met its match with our Canadian winters and the
whole thing was taken down to be replaced with a wooden structure. Wainscoting
was put in, with a shelf for drinks, a dental detail under the eaves for
decoration and a cupola on top to vent out the hot summer air. This is still a
work in progress. The next stage will add screening to the four walls and a
screen door on the front.
Tiled Laundry Room
I took out the old vinyl floor, put down new tile and replaced the old laundry
tub with one in a cabinet unit.
